New Career ... From the beginning.

This is a great day! I put a note on my facebook page asking my friends to say a prayer for me as I did the road test. I asked for confidence, peace. Prayers were answered! My first turn I clipped the curb..and I figured it was all over...but I continued on...turn here...turn there...call out hazards as you see them... remember not to shift in an intersection...or on railroad tracks... parallel parking..starting on a hill...there were a few sessions with the gears giving me trouble...but I didn't hit any more curbs...and passed.... yep...PASSED! Schneider has a place for me at their table next Wednesday. Whew! Tomorrow get my hairs clipped for drug test. The times they are a changin

New begining...new set of friends, new set of clothes... new vocabulary!

SNI has, evidently shortened their road training to just a week. My instructors are very skeptical that this is enough time to break in a new driver. I have to admit it seems like the opposite extreme to others 6 weeks...what do you folks think? Is it enough to make a newbie into a safe driver?
