Today was uneventful. THANK GOD ! Let's see...40,000 pounds of clay pigeons for Walmart...and 14,000 pounds of toilet paper for some food chain in Mass. I'm so glad to know that I'm helping people to do the really important things in life.

A friend on facebook nailed it when she said....don't squeeze the Charmin ! Another day...this one was the best yet. Got up at 4 because I had an appointment at 11 and I needed every minute of it. Pouring down rain.....but everything g went smoothly. I'm on my way to Rochester NY tomorrow....then home! I was just looking at the route that is planned out for me....right now I'm on I90/Mass Pike....Rochester is also on 90....so why the heck am I being routed on state and county roads all 280 miles? I know there are tolls...but the stop and go thru dozens of little towns has got. To use more fuel.....right? Driving those county roads is doubly tiring.

Hey Mark
Wave when you get to Rochester! and why they are routing you along country roads is ridiculous! Of course the 90 (NYS thruway) is a toll road but more fuel effecient than speed up slow down speed up on country roads!
Are you stopping in Rochester? There are VERY limited T/S here just fyi.......nothing really big like a TA or Pilot. Or you stop and drop then home? -
Gourmet dining on the road. The northeast has got to be more difficult than the rest of the country...there are no truck stops to speak of. Where there's no truck stops....the truck can't stop very easily. Heck, just getting g a cup of coffee from Dunkin is darn near impossible. A word of advice..if you are going to drive...plan on eating in your truck...get a good thermos that will keep hour coffee hot. Buy a 12volt cooler....keep your Mt Dew cool, plus some cold cuts, fruit..
