Hey guys,
Do I have to put in an application every time I book a load for a new shipper or broker through internet truck stop?
How do you guys go about this? the companies said it takes two days to approve the application.
Keep in mind this is not for a lease this is an owner operator looking for my own load and calling the brokers to book the load.
Thank.

i would ASSUME long as it is wth the same brokerage/broker company you only need to do it once for each one. however i could be wrong

Okay cool thanks damutt, I was just wondering if I had to do it once. It does make sense for them to require an application to check the background of the carrier.

keep this in mind i am a COMAPANY driver so double check wth the broker/brokerage

diffrent broker/ shipper, diffrent carrier app
most will want the same info so keep copies of the normal stuff, w-9, insurance COI, dot authority, etc..... there is more just depends on who it is.Last edited: Jun 7, 2014
