Choosing a route from New Castle, DE to Drummondville, QC. 11'-10" wide and 5 axles.

Looking at I-95 to I-295 to the Delaware Memorial Bridge into NJ, then I-295 to Rt 206 N to I-287 to I-87 to QC.

My question is about the bridge crossing.

    Toll rate?
    Escort required?
    OD permit required?

I called admin office but they are closed.

Did they open the bridge on 295? Last I read they closed it due to it was leaning or sinking...
toll fee used to be included in the permit, but it has been several years since I took a ld. over it..
They will be open Monday. Remember this is a long holiday for the goverment workers. lol

I have no idea how many OD loads I've done....100 maybe. I have never just thrown an application in there. AFAIK, requesting a route is mandatory but hey what do I know? This one is just a little out of my lane is all.

I've been across the Commodore Barry bridge 3-4 times with OD loads but it's always been NB. That was an expensive one IIRC.

Well everything went off without a hitch. No toll, no escort, not even a permit required to go into NJ on the Delaware Memorial Bridge (I-295). The route I was given by the DOT was I-95 N to I-295 to DE Mem to Rt 1 N to I-287 to I-87 to QC.
