Don't believe all that. Many drivers gripe and complain, but still keep driving for years. If it was as bad as they say, they would change careers.

 

If you take a trucking job as a CDL holder -- be sure to keep that job FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR.

Longer is/would be even better.

Why?

If the crane world tanks on you -- or maybe you don't get hired as an operator -- you then also have marketable experience as a truck driver...for your fallback "plan B".

It's always a great idea to have a "plan B".
