Chinerzs? No thanks. They have some great ambitions and once they push the issue on Taiwan the paradigm changes. You certainly know that.
Heck, Moscow was fun to visit until a year ago if you got caught with a juiced up vape pen.

I'm all for multiculturalism and Americans remembering our grandfathers lessons but Chinerzs is a whole other dangerous hydra that will have to lose a head or two before it realizes that it had better play nice in the world arena.

I don't get this part... how are you gone for 2-3 weeks at a time and only make $1200-1600 a week? That seems terrible to me! I'd rather work local, be home every night and make the same or more... I can't fathom being out working 7 days a week for weeks on end and making under $2k a week.

Exactly why trucking appeals to many.
    Different strokes as they say.
That gig is appealing to many.
Maybe they don't own or rent a home or could be the casual pace or the long deadhead miles.
1600 a week w no expenses on a one or two load a week sounds pretty good.

Mmmm... I see. Well I am learning. If I was single, young and living with my parents then that would work I guess. I am older, married and live in the most expensive part of the most expensive state in the country so that wouldn't work for me.

I have been following this industry for a long time. If you don’t want to do over the road, then I suggest you look at a company like Ashley furniture distribution.

I know for sure May trucking has a western regional, that may be worth looking into.

Just curious why you ruled out becoming an airline pilot?

I got to Japan for a few months as a computer tech and network guy.
It was an interesting experience, to say the least.

But it turned out that we didn't get along so well, on many levels.
I had to arrange to get fired from my job so I could get home again. It was the only loophole I had working for me, and I had no money.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

My favorite place is Hong Kong, followed by Philippines. Never tired of those.

    Prstone50 and Moosetek13 Thank this.
