Right now, you may want to concentrate on getting all the driving experience that you can get for the next 6 months to 1 or 2 years, to be able to apply at other companies if you choose to do so.
34 cents per mile for a beginner starting out is O.K., not great, but still O.K..
After you get more experience under your belt, then the better paying jobs should be opening up to you.
Good luck to you! God bless you and your family!
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.! -

He has his HazMat also. Any tanker companies out his way?!?!?Kwan23 Thanks this. -
Keep looking; apply like crazy.
Look into tanks, since you DO have your HazMat. Everybody "says" its a learning curve, but then again, you have nothing TO unlearn....ie: no bad habits yet.
What say you, @slim shady ???Kwan23, EZ Money and slim shady Thank this. -
Get a good year or so under your belt....no tickets or bump ups and you should have many choices..
A buddy of mine pulls tanks for Foodliner....Makes good money and likes it.
They have terminals in TX and all over...About all new equipment too..
If you get into tanker you will be glad you did! I would never want to go back to a van or flatbed after driving those for over 30 years.Rocknroller4 and G13Tomcat Thank this. -

G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
