I do have a felony possession conviction from 2017 and he has a felony that is non violent, non drug related conviction from 2019. Although his criminal background hasnt really caused him much of a problem in the past with finding jobs. Here's where we seem to be having issues... There was an incident with his most recent employer, the incident was a property damage accident where he drove over the edge of a median and through some landscaping while trying to exit a very tight parking lot that once had been a place trucks could park ...but a week before the incident they installed a fence to detour the homeless from moving onto the property...so once he pulled in he had no choice but to follow the shorter path to the exit, there was absolutely no way to back up once he was in the lot. But he was then fired by the company later that week. They stated it was because of a safety violation, which usually per company policy is a 1000 dollar fine snd a warning, and 2 write ups before termination, but he had no previous warnings, violations or any safety issues, but they stated that to industry conditions they decided against company policy and did not charge the fine, instead they terminated his employment. He has applied to about 40 jobs since his termination and has been quickly rejected by 90% of them but we arent exactly sure what his previous employer said about his termination so he just keeps applying in hopes of finding a second chance employer that might overlook the one incident he had recently. We are located in Portland Oregon, zip code 97123 but are willing to work anywhere that will accommodate the two of us and our current barriers to employment . We both have tanker and doubles/triples endorsements. She has an automatic restriction on her license but I have no restrictions, my mvr is clear and I have no current or past issues with the clearinghouse. My previous work experience includes everything from dry van, refer, flatbed and otr independent contracting over the last 5 years. She is a recent graduate from an accredited trucking school with zero experience at this tiime.time. Thank you so much for your help and any advice you are able to offer us, we greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide us with.

Well, having your husband there with you, i would say you could do the job. He is going to teach you the ropes of trucking. Be careful with flat bed
that steel breaks loose your in trouble, but your husband will teach you everything. Im good with this , i think you`ll do fine. He is not going to let you
get hurt. HE IS IN CHARGE. Let HIM make all decisions in trucking !! Good Luck
