Yep, it appears there are quite a few jobs out there. I applied to a few of them. Thanks for the information.

My main reason for posting this was to find out if was just being treated like a new guy and should suck it up and wait or if there was something weird going on. I don't mind being the new guy, I just have a hard time identifying if that's what's going on here or if this company isn't getting work.

Thanks for all your time @Chinatown.

The truck owner probably doesn't have the work. Doesn't make any sense for a truck to just sit and not generate revenue. Time to move on to a different company.

That's what I was thinking. I started turning in applications for oilfield jobs around here on Sunday. I've had 3 interviews and 3 job offers so far.

I'm waiting until Monday to finish the last interview I have scheduled before I decide who I will grace with my illustrious presence. Kidding but, there appears to be a shortage of people who want to drive out here. Anyone reading this who wants to move to Gillette Wyoming (which is likely no one) should be confident in their ability to get a $25 per hour driving job with zero experience.

I still want to live there.

The Missus, on the other hand, is still resistant.

    Good luck!

care to give us an update? Did you get 4/4 offers? Who did you go with?

How cheap is the housing over there in Gillette?
