Try jeb, bd walter. For experience. But in general try the smaller companies. 5-10 trucks.

Come north and haul some logs, we're making $550-600 a day during summer and $750-900 a day during winter. Home daily and 3 months off in the spring.

Chinook carriers out of taber maybe? Somebody mentioned bd walter but I'd totally avoid them.

Most any logging company pays around this, 30-32% of gross. I'm at 35% but I'll keep my job security on company name. Oh and those are after tax numbers, but unfortunately boss lowered pay this season by $50 a day due to high fuel prices.

A while back there I was considering coming over to Canada and working between Spring and fall, although most want you to stay and get residency, not sure why they won't hire seasonal workers? Some companies I came across apart from Bison, was Tag Logistics, Jardine, and Agrifresh although not sure it they operate out of Alberta?

I've trucked in Australia.. Only QLD/NSW though. Too hot for me.. I'd rather chain up in -40c to get into a mine site :D
