I am wondering if there are any owner/operators that would take on an extra driver that has little experience. I live in Waco, TX.

Look at driver pulse : tenstreet app. You’ll find lots of opportunities and it’s stupid easy to mass apply

If you can't find 1000 companies to take you on tomorrow, you must have some insurmountable background/legal/MVR issues. What IS the problem? Seriously.... in this market, nobody with a CDL should be unemployed.

Yeah you should be having people call you weekly, I still do and it’s a hard sell, some will try to match but can’t beat the current employer. Going on a few years now

I am recently retired from USPS after 35 years Federal service (a few years in US Army too), age 56. I had a CDL for 5 years in the early 90's. I have no traffic violations nor drug/alcohol offenses, no misdemeanors nor felonies. Squeaky clean! I don't want to be tied down with any company commitments, but am willing to go on the road for a couple weeks at a time. Maybe 2 weeks on 1 week off. I am in trucking school at the moment and should be available soon. View attachment 385998

Look on driver pulse. Matheson Postal works for the USPS and they’re paying team drivers $40/hr with benefits. Might be a good fit for you
