Just had new clutch installed in a 2013 Cascadia with a dd15. My rpm at highway speeds has dropped around 300 rpm. I now tach 1100 rpm at 70 mph. Prior to the new clutch it was tach around 1400 - 1500
Any explanation?
New clutch caused change in rpm to road speed ratio

Unless the old clutch was slipping badly I don't know how this could be

Impossible if the clutch was slipping that much the heat would cause catastrophic failure in less than 30 miles.

Sounds like they put a od trans in where a direct drive was.

Speed or tach sensor messing up. It is not possible for the clutch to change speed.

Starmac is right. Id bet on it being the speed sensor in the rear of the trans. Check to makee sure its installed correctly.

Clutch changing road speed not possible. Ditto on a sensor
