Cummins ISLG and Mercedes OM906 CNG cant use diesel!

CNG ore LPG only. ISLG shares cyl. block, crankshaft, oil pan, oil system with ISL, but cyl. heads are different, pistons are different, compression rate is lower! They use spark plugs to ignite mixture, there is throutle!

i think you are mixing things

i know that there is lot of trucks in Holland with LPG but they use diesel and LPG all time or diesel all time and LPG occasionally when you require more hp ...

my uncle had MAN f2000 with gas engine very interesting truck , he strip it for parts

i think it was 19 223 or something

here there is almost no CNG in use except city buses 60 of them in my city

scania use composite tanks for trucks and buses they are 400kg lighter

problem with cng is in most refuel stations there is no cooling so they fill you with hot gas and after gas is cooled pressure drop and this vehicle need lot more time to be in station then you excepted

here only 60 they are irisbus citelis bought in 2009 they are crap they are 35% more expensive than normal

they are just bought because they are more expensive and that guy who opt for them get more provision from traders

usually in this public company it is big corruption they have 213mb citaro II G

each one 850 000€ without tax

they pay tram 3300 000€ each one 140+ of them

i dont know price for man lions city and citelis but they are probably few times more than normal price

they dont have proper gas station for them

so it is very slow to fill gas and problems with cooling gas .....so lot of working time of buses they are on filling ....as for performances 12m are 260hp or 270 something like this

18m are 310hp and they are very weak , technicians from ZF come here and exchange eco software for power one and they get now 6gear and they are better but still weak

also bus is biggest crap i have ever seen

CNG converted truck will be of the same . But if you use CNG you can use catalistic converters like in cars and upgrade emission level. In some countries it would be profitable becouse toll and taxes are lower for trucks with newer emission level.
