Hey all,
I'm starting with a new otr company next week. I like most things I've been told, except they are giving me a truck that's 12 years old. Ive always worked for bigger companies with newer equipment. This old truck thing is worrying me. From what ive been told they maintain their trucks
, but...
Can a well maintained 12 yr old truck still be reliable? Am i worried for nothing?

Im going to orientation next week. No, they told me they were giving me an old truck. Before i commit, i started wondering if maybe im walking into a bad situation. I dont care about getting a shiny new truck. I just dont want to be sitting on the side of the road every other week.

BEing that you are talking about a 12 year fleet truck, it probably needs work and has been neglected unfortunatley. -
