I know there’s other factors to choosing a job, but for 3yrs experience, is .49 cpm good pay? I have a clean record.
New company offering .49 cpm, is this good pay?

That's good pay but even better if the accessorial pays are good.
I made $65K per year @ .36 cpm and only worked 11 months each year. Accessorial pays on top of cpm made it a good job.zigstar and VantaiTatted Thank this. -

No lumpers.
No fighting for a dock at a warehouse.
No load securement/tarping.
No miserable #$@!! lumpers.
No hunting for the dock foreman.
No loud reefer to drive you insane.
No sweeping or pulling nails from your trailer floor.
No moving your tractor at the fuel island to fuel your reefer tank.
No waste of skin lumpers to hire.
Free shower and laundry available at most food grade tank washes.
48 foot trailers for the most part.
And you won't have to hire any union lumpers who finish unloading your trailer, but then take their required lunch break while holding your BOL hostage. -

Are you gonna be sitting at produce houses/grocery warehouses/wal mart etc with that reefer on your back? Or are you gonna be racking up miles? Will the company get you home? Are the medical benefits good or high weekly payments with lots of out-of-pocket expenses? What kind of equipment will you be pulling? Will you be running out west chaining up constantly in the wintertime?
All kinds of things to consider. -
.49 was really close to what I earned 20 years ago as a top hand when all the things were combined on the plate what with the benefits and so on. However the total gross for wife and I that year was less than minimum wage all together for each of us because we were problem solvers, not necessarily a constant coast to coast twice a week when not solving problems. LA to Jersey and back really spoiled us something bad. Thousands in pay per week. It's as if the US Mint exploded in our finances and rained dollars.
If I was to get back into it it will have to be a salary situation of around 2000 gross or equivalent weekly. That way we don't quibble what loads go where. It's going pronto, we are late already.zigstar Thanks this. -
I was talking to a tanker driver and he told me he received $750 for two days demurrage. Pretty good money for just sitting.
