New driver… have been applying for a week and have heard minimal back

We typically require one year of CDL Class A driving experience, however, we will consider less depending on where you worked and what you did for them.

 

I just threw out there. They hire on newbies straight out of school, at least here on the West Coast. You can do local, regional, dedicated, or OTR. My son has been on a dedicated run and does well, he has been there for awhile. He started at the bottom like any newbie does. Once he got his experience and wanted to move on, they made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.

 

I see CRST trucks often passing through Las Vegas. The trucks look new and well maintained. I live near I-15 in Las Vegas, so see lots of truck traffic running into and out of California. I don't know if they were team trucks or not.

 

You may not have to team with CRST since you already have a cdl.
Maybe run with a trainer is all.

 

On another note, in trucking you'll make enough money for a nice vacation every year.
