To be brutally honest Sometimes you cant have it your own way until you get some whiskers or skin in the game.
What's wrong with a manual transmission it sounds like you took the easy way out , driving is a job you have to prove yourself with honesty , dedication , the more you learn the more value your worth.
I would of never walked away from filling my CDL with everything , all you have is a restricted license.
I'd be taking the first job smoking , CRST , Western Express who cares your nobody until you earn your whiskers.
Stop being so picky or your doomed from the start.
    Good Luck.

Saw CRST pulling a Tyson trailer earlier today. Perhaps they've developed a dedicated division. They may not be the same ole CRST we know

There was a trucking company called Gardner in Chino Cali. CRST bought them out. It’s not the same ole CRST as everyone seems to know, at least on the WEST COAST.

    Chinatown and bryan21384 Thank this.

It’s not that I’m being picky about manual I literally just can’t drive stick. I’ve tried many times I just can’t do it……. And I’m not really being picky in companies I choose it’s just I’ve heard bad stuff about them and would rather not deal with that if I didn’t have to ya know what I mean haha

You do not have to team at Crst if you apply dedicated . If you don’t have at least 3 months experience though you will have to drive with a mentor for 14-21 days . If you do otr you have to team

    Chinatown Thanks this.

You apply with whoever lets you drive a truck and be grateful someone let a 21 year old with an auto restriction and presumably light work history get hired at all. If I were you I’d sign on to do touch freight. Something like US foods or one of those meat grinder jobs. Put in 1-3 years and it’ll open doors. You’ll make stupid money too because CDL A food delivery is probably the highest paid food handling job there is.
