My auto cpap machine has a humidifier to keep my nasal area from drying out. Make sure your machine has heated tubing. that is what is suppose to keep the hose dry so the bacteria will not build up. But it is still important to clean it. Oh yea, and dont forget to use distilled water in the humidifier not tap water. Who knows what is already growing in the the tap water.
