Thought you went with Prime; don't they have APU?
Have you decided on a private cdl school?
Where is your location?
Freymiller hires new cdl school grads and reimburses tuition and has APU. -
Hey Chinatown. I actually made that commwnt about Prime just a few hours ago. I live in Minnesota. I have not yet decided on what I'm gonna do for schooling. I'm very interested in finding out more about companies that operate regionally in the Minnesota area that hire new CDL drivers.
Thanks in advance to anyone who has any info for me. -
Jim Palmer Trucking and Wilson Logistics have their own cdl school and can offer you western regional trucking.
Bluedew Thanks this. -
Thanks for the info. Looks like the hiring areas for both of those are both further west than me for regional. I like the idea of going with a smaller company like one of these however. Does anyone know of any Minnesota or Dakota based regional trucking companies?

Redbone Trucking may have an opening in Williston for crude oil tankers. Give 'em a call.

This company also runs reefers and dry vans.

Nateman482 Thanks this. -
Canadian Pacific Transcontinental Railway hires cdl-a drivers and trains them to be "Signalman/Assistant Signalman."

Flat Earth Trucker and Chinatown Thank this.

Check out Viessmann or Caledonia if you ever decide to haul food grade liquids.
Nateman482 Thanks this. -
Navajo Express mostly has APUs in the entirety of their line haul and dedicated fleet... some of the newer trucks went to a system which was like the Detroit Optimized Idle, but whatever the hell Paccar calls it... whether that's the new norm or not, I couldn't tell you. The new supervisor who took over the shop after the previous one went to Atlanta had a chip on his shoulder with part-timers, and found excuses to cut us out, one-by-one, and I don't think I'd be welcome back there after the parting gift I left him for that.
Kidd05, Nateman482 and Chinatown Thank this.
