Probably the most useless information on this thread...man up? really... guys are telling him straight forward about the difficulties with getting hired and you want to tell him otherwise... go ahead tell him how easy it will be...which company can he run to with open arms...

If you owned a company are you going to hire him? Or the guy/gal without the conviction?

What about getting Haz-mat? TSA? (another poster gave these as examples)

Please explain what this man up is?

Please read what other are writing before commenting because you really sound like you are just trying to be heard!!! And not giving good advice!!!

You can't tell anybody the truth anymore maffy95...Might hurt their feelings. LOL... lucky07, I'm way over 60 year sold, and I fought in a war to keep MY country free....If your that dis-satisfied with the US then stay the 35%$%6 out of it. The man comes onto an open forum and asks why he can't find a job, when by his OWN ADDMISSION he broke the laws of this country...you know whats wrong is too many panty-wasted people are afraid to speak their minds....He was born a citizen of the US the best place in the world to be born, he had all of the same opportunities that come with that....HE chose not to obey the laws, and then wants to blame the system for not GIVING him a job. How about lets go back to when you were expected to earn your way into a good job by working your way -up doing what your asked to do without expecting to have someone give you anything. I'm glad I don't have to deal with it anymore in retirement. But I'm the one who has is wrong I guess.......

This is what made the op get upset. This is who he was referring too. Not the other opinions. Oh by the way I have an assault. It didn't stop me from getting my Hazmat. I also was fired from first trucking company for getting into a fight with co-driver. I'm not about to let some crazy dude come at me with a hammer in my own truck. Never had a problem getting employed. As I said its the drug charge and I'm sure with some cash he probably can get it expunged, and yes there are plenty of people who will use and abuse him in this industry by hiring him. It's bad enough most companies treat drivers like slaves. That have clean criminal history.

Carolina Cargo who pay's drivers 10cpm to team drive they hire felons and after going coast to coast and back you get a big ol 500 dollar check if you are lucky. So as I said earlier. There are some companies who will hire him with the recent drug charge, but with the amount of work you put in, and driving crap equipment. It wouldn't be worth it in my opinion.

You apparently missed some of the other posts. The man-up was posted by someone else and I commented on it and yes I know first hand about having a record so don't run your mouth about something you know nothing of. I also have haz-mat and a twic card and if any of you think he can't get a driving job your wrong.

Yes I do and I earned every bit of it. Now if you can't post anything from experience and give the man some real advice other than sarcasm, don't post anything.

Where do you see someone say he cant get a job... do you just make things up as you go ... and here is an FYI DONT RUN YOU MOUTH!!!

You commented looking to fight because you have a criminal record thats the only reason so lets call it like it really is....

Your comments are incoherent and disjoined... you are spouting anger for absolutely no reason other than this is what you do...I have no patience for behavior like this... the OP was looking for help you provided nothing...

BTW please show me where I was sarcastic? I mean really... should you even be commenting on something you know nothing about?

And yes I was an Operations Manager in charge in hiring and Firing so yes I have experience in this type of question and I can tell you unequivically the assault carries more weight!!! and thats a fact in my company...

A simple pot possession is nothing...especially if it was over 2 years ago....

Please dude not interest in any response you may have... I am actually going to leave this sight because there are too many people like you just here to prove their worth...please just go away!!!
