New driver had a bad day

So you got yelled at because you made a wrong turn? Like that rent-a-cop never took a wrong street before.

You're completely fine. Just get pissed back at him and say something like, "what are you going to do, arrest me?" Then back out the way you did and be on with your day.

 

Hey, I know the low pay. Like I said, I was working for $10 an hour doing armed security, working 60 - 70 hours a week for $500 after taxes. I never saw blowing my top at someone as a good idea though. Escalating situations for no reason is just stupid.

 

There's also the kid that does it just so he can do his homework while on the job. Chances are he won't care either.

 

The guy he’s referring to, being an A Hole at a gate, usually isn’t armed. It’s some fat kid living in his grandmother’s basement. Like everything else, you have the true professional and the wannabes.

 

It depends on how much the company pays generally. We were armed at 3 of the 6 different locations I worked at. The only one that let in trucks I was armed. Well, there was another that I wasn't armed at that also dealt, but I was a train guard because apparently Frac sand drivers liked pulling out in front of 60mph freight trains.

 

That was how I studied for my CLP exam, haha.

 

Well what could possibly go wrong there?
