It depends...(also) on the location in question....and just how really "hard up" they are for more/new drivers there.
Suggestion: tomorrow (March 1st) is "National Hiring Day" for McLane.
This is basically a nationwide hiring "blitz" they are doing--to bring in new drivers/help.
If you're apprehensive about that point on your MVR--I would go apply in person with McLane, and see what happens there (apparently, they have positions available in Norfolk):
CDL TRUCK DRIVER - Norfolk, VA 23504 - Indeed.com
You could conceivably go in...interview....and go back home with a CDL-A job.
Nothing ventured....nothing gained.....

McLane Company hiring events cut some slack on experience, etc. Probably be hired as a driver trainee for awhile, then given your own truck.

When/if you go--be sure to take with you EVERYTHING you need to fill out a CDL job application.
OR -- fill out a McLane job application on the McLane website (per the above link) -- and then follow-up on the ap if/when you visit them tomorrow.
The choice is yours....(I would probably do that last one).
