New Driver Looking For First Job in SF Bay Area

    Hi, everyone!

    I recently got my CDL-A a few months ago and have been applying to jobs all over California. I haven't had any luck so far. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone else having a hard time getting a job here in California. I could use some guidance from the the elders.

    Location: SF Bay Area
    MVR: No accidents in last 3 years
    Endorsements: Doubles/Triples, Tanker, Hazmat
    Etc: TWIC card, Automatic restriction

    I've been looking for something local or regional. At this point anything will work.

    Chinatown may be able to offer a few suggestions.

    Once you gain a year or two of experience, I would recommend looking at Trimac. Easy work, management is reasonable, the pay is good, and they have a small terminal in Hayward where you can easily grab loads from Dow Chemical.
