You know bear, take everything with a grain of salt both here on the forums and out on the streets. If you want a honest face to face answer talk to some of the drivers of the companys you wish to drive for. You will always hear the bad over the good, why cause people that are happy are busy making money driving. I have a good friend of mine that started at england, leased their truck new, stayed a bit and saved some money, then brought his own truck and leased on with landstar. He didnt have any major problems and they didnt screw with his pay, and to boot he didnt finish the whole lease and they welcomed him back anytime and he got his extra funds back within the 45 days. He told me with any job you have its 90% attitude.
BEAR442 Thanks this. -
With who ever you go with it all in your attitude. I started off with England, and when I left them I did not think I was making any money, but it turned out I was cause my wife and I lived off of it for several weeks till I landed another job.
I talked to a trainee a few weeks ago from Stevens and he was doing good and was happy with them. It all in the Attitude.
