How is everybody doing. I jus recently got my CDL and was wondering if anybody will hire me with two speeding tickets. I am 22 years old and with two speeding tickets (15-25) mph over the limit on both. These are the only two tickets I have but I guess it is enough for me to get denied by ever insurance I come across. I was wondering if anybody knew anybody anywhere that could help me out. I am willing to travel, change my license, anything to get employed. I am looking to start a carer for myself but and having a little bit of a hard time.

If you would like to get more Help I would Suggest where you live how old the Tickets was and CMV or regular car but it really don't matter Speeding ticket is a speeding ticket. What kind if any Experience you have. I can almost 99.9999% tell you right not to not even attempt to apply to major Companies if those tickets are not over 5 years old.

Anything 15 mph or over is considered a serious violation and most won't touch you for 5 years. If you had experience there are some that say 3 years. You could of been charged with reckless driving too. You should of fought them with an attorney. Most times they'll reduce it to 5 or 10 over just for showing up in court. There's nothing but time that will fix this. If you look on trucking websites many will list their hiring requirements.

Once you get a CDL you throw that lead foot out the window.

Gonna be hard....but it's possible. Do some serious research on-line into companies that hire past felons and the like. Their insurance companies may not be so strict. BUT...you must realize that these type of companies aren't exactly top-of-the-shelf places to work. If you do find a place to take you on.....keep your nose clean for a few years(read at least 5)..then try to move on to a better place...Good Luck

If you're not out of shape I would look into some Hopper Driving if there is some around you. I would also look at some Tanker bulk not Liquid because like above there insurance is very strict for Liquid Tankers. If you have family that are farmers or Know anyone that is a farmer see if you can get on with them for a bit. I would also try some Feed mills Experience is experience so give them a try. If you can get on a hopper outfit you should easy make 40-50k a year min. But if you keep your nose clean for a while you can start looking for better Companies as they some of them pay more than others. I would stick with an owner that has less than 10 Units.

Did you go through a CDL school or Community College for your CDL? If so, did you tell them about your driving record? Did they promise you a job? If they did you should go back to them and ask for your money back. That is of course if they lied to you? It will be very hard for you to find a job in this industry with that record.

Actually a friend of mine at 21 had 12 Tickets total he was the well to due list so his license wasn't suspended believe it or not he got a CDL. Got hired on at a nice company that refused me with spotless record. Guess like all jobs its who you know and who you can kiss on the rear.
