    I went to United Truck Driving School in San Diego.

    The key word is... school.

    Any monkey can get a permit. Read a few pages and answer a few questions.

    The hard part is learning to actually drive the thing correctly.
    (And, well, the school only teaches you the very basics and nothing more.
    But it's the right start.)
