Get on the LTL side and you will be able to achiveve 60k a year.

I don’t believe any recruiter. Sure things are possible.Basic math can help you figure all that. But what’s probable. Only history can tell you that.Check The Labor dept statistics for real pay info. I’m sure pay is at an all time high right now and heading even higher.But in no way is $60 k first yr the avg. You have to be careful and research the Company. A lot of these Companies are out to get their freight moved cheaply. If they’re not willing to Show you the money right away. I wouldn’t count on any of their promises. Look at the turnover rates. That alone says a lot.Some of these Companies get a subsidy for hiring. Constantly hiring more drivers to replace the ones disgruntled. 100% turnover is not uncommon in OTR

 

I personally would work for Estes Old Dominion or ABF any LTL except XPO

I would say it's determined by your work ethic.

 

I tried checking with a guy who leased with Prime. He had been a small business owner. So no excuse for failure there. He started the lease 9 months ago. I haven’t heard back from him. I can only assume?

 

I made over 60k with Superior Carriers my first year. I also averaged 7-8 days off a month.

 

I try to let people know that about tanker work, but I'm bashed and told I'm spreading false information.
Two new drivers where I worked make $65K their first 12 months pulling tankers.
