I think this has been mentioned already but, whatever you do, don't fall for the lease/purchase scam that so many of the mega carriers have. They make it sound good...but it's not.

I don’t believe any recruiter. Sure things are possible.Basic math can help you figure all that. But what’s probable. Only history can tell you that.Check The Labor dept statistics for real pay info. I’m sure pay is at an all time high right now and heading even higher.But in no way is $60 k first yr the avg. You have to be careful and research the Company. A lot of these Companies are out to get their freight moved cheaply. If they’re not willing to Show you the money right away. I wouldn’t count on any of their promises. Look at the turnover rates. That alone says a lot.Some of these Companies get a subsidy for hiring. Constantly hiring more drivers to replace the ones disgruntled. 100% turnover is not uncommon in OTR

I made over 60k with Superior Carriers my first year. I also averaged 7-8 days off a month.
