Well, since you plan to team with your wife, how does she feel about throwing tarps and whatnot?

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Good question. She carried around 4 ft tarps yesterday then we talked about it after work. We then watched some videos on these trailers that our company has

We are willing to chain, strap, run flatbed’s and conestoga however tarps are not something we want to deal with.

They seem happy with having the flexibility of running us with dry van or untarped flatbed

Day 4. My wife got to pull her first step deck to deliver a John Deere tractor. Her step father was an awesome man and loved John Deere. She was over the moon with happiness :D

Now you see one of the many reasons I suggested asking for tighter backing situations during your training.

    Nahbrown Thanks this.

You will get the hang of it. I hated backing into those docks in a flatbed the few times I did too. Some are just as tight for vans also. None of us were born into driving and backing. You like RGN?

    Seth0194 and Nahbrown Thank this.

Trucking is a game of inches at times, practice gets you better with that.

There's no 2nd chances with shiny stainless tankers or purdy spanking new equipment your flat bedding.

    Never rush and G.O.A.L.
