Yea I agree, thats a dumb idea. The law states that they must be able to verify that the truck has a speed restrictor on it and that it is working. Otherwise you are OOS till they can.

 

never ever heard of anyone doing this since the law came out, never had it hapened to me yet, anyway you can get around it with different computer programs, depending on what engine you have, mine shows that it is governed if they were to plug in, but really it is not.

Anyway once the big money grab is over after a couple months, you will probably won't even hear of this too much
