If I leave anything that dont fit in the bag goes to the next driver. I've left Microwaves, TV's in the past now I dont buy them.1 back pack, 1 duffle bag, past that you probably dont need it.

You'll need flip flops, sweat pants, some shirts that are 2 sizes too small . And don't forget those black gloves with the fingers cut out. Then you should fit right in.

I agree with the wait until you get your own truck and everything you take should fit in a bag you can take home on a bus or plane. Plus a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcases.

    What to take clothes:
    Running shoes
    Shower shoes
    At least 1 sweatshirt/hoodie
    A jacket/winter weight
    Two sets of long johns
    Underwear
    Undershirts at least 5
    Socks 7 days
4 Sturdy work pants or jeans
    A pair of sweat pants
    A pair of shorts
    1 button down flannel
    4-6 t-shirts mid weight

    Work stuff:
    Sturdy work shoes/boots
    Work gloves
    Bluetooth headset
    Multi-tool pliers (We use Gerber)

    Miscellaneous needs:
Ibuprofen, gel caps 200mg 50+ size
30 days of all RX meds
    Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
    Toothbrush and toothpaste

    Miscellaneous for convenience:
A double insulated metal cup to refill at the truck stop. It needs to fit in a standard cup holder.
Tide pods small pack and small dryer sheets. These cost a fortune at the truck stop.
2 rolls of quarters to do laundry.
    Granola bars.
    Pouches of tuna
    Jerky
    Mixed nuts

    hidden1 and Flankenfurter Thank this.

You want to look professional , flip flops- NO, pj's- NO, as far as boots something comfortable with some grip tread ,your feet and rump will thank you . I keep a pair of tennis shoes handy for traveling . Don't be bashful, ask questions if you don't understand and ask again ,if you don't understand the answer. Miscommunication leads to confusion .

    Flankenfurter Thanks this.
