Doubt if you are a veteran driver.

And explain how you KNOW the man is lying?

My company has one full time recruiter and another person that helps out. Both very honest people that don't lie.

It appears that you are the only one who thinks that. You're obviously a rookie in this industry and can't blame you for believing that your dispatcher is to be obeyed without question. He's likely convinced you that that is what you must do if you want good miles and to get your hometime.

    Right here.....

    Hardly new.

Dispatcher send you a load and you can run it legally, you do it. YOU went to work for THAT company and are expected to work as tasked, long as it's legal. Don't want to? Quit or get your own equipment and do as you wish about loads.

I saw nothing where he refused hometime to a driver. Guess my monitor don't have the read between the lines function.

Yep I called someone a moron....shoe must have fit.

Company. I run a dedicated local route. Same route, same stops, 5 nights per week.

So a dispatcher really has no bearing on you.

BTW...sorry for the insults and harsh words in here. We both read the same thing here and had a different take on it. We both should have disagreed with each other and just moved on

    Stay safe.
