I have the Advanced Weather(North America), Live Traffic(North America) and the Photo Live(North America) on my Dezl 760. The difference i noticed is that i receive much more specific traffic updates like construction zones or even if a car is broke down 100 miles ahead on my route. It will tell me which lane the car is broke down in and how long of a delay is expected as well as how many miles traffic is currently backed up. Definitely a good buy imo.
Also, the Advance Weather warned me of a tornado when i was driving through Oklahoma City a few months ago. It also warns you of Thunderstorms etc....
But i am having the same issues with the Weigh Station warning. For some reason i don't get a visual warning or a audio warning. My buddy has the same device in his truck and he says his 760 warns him visually as well as with an audio alert. I call tech support and was told that the update should fix it but it didn't. Other than this problem it's a great device.
One last thing. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone and it works perfectly with the Smartlink App.

I forgot to mention that the Garmin Dezl 760 also has a slot for a micro sd memory card. And if you are like me i have a lot of saved routes and location points that i travel to frequently. But before you buy just any micro sd card be sure it is between a 4gb and 8gb card. Tech Support told me this personally. The micro sd card slot is located at the bottom of the 760 right beside the port that connects to the internet when attempting to do an update.
Hope this helps -
I love my Dezel as well but what does the smartlink app do? I have seen it in the menu.
-
It allows the premium apps to work via the bluetooth. You can also send addresses from Google maps to the 760.

Ok quick update.
After downloading the latest update over the weekend my weigh station alerts seem to be working perfectly now. For some reason my 760 didn't come already equipped with the Truck Down app. Now i am alerted 5 miles before i am approaching any weigh station. And also 5 miles before i reach a state border and of course i like the sharp curve and steep downgrade warnings as well. As of right now this is the best GPS that i've ever had by far. -
When they gona get the lock up glitch fixed? Mine like so many others, locks up about once a week. Turn it off and back on, it's fine. No big deal, just annoying.

With the 560, on the very rare (as-in maybe once a year) occasion it locks up like you describe, it drops the current trip segment. It can leave a gap in your trip table along with a corresponding gap in miles. Currently I already edit the table prior to doing IFTA in order to true up to the odometer. Any gaps are easily detected and corrected, but a nuisance.
I'd guess the 760 might do the same thing. -
I've had mine since the day they came out and have never had it lock up. Knock on wood!!
