New Garmin Dezl 760

I have been unable to ever justify the cost of one.
I'm only doing it now, because there is no cash outlay.

Garmin by far the best IMO. Love the traffice and how easy to modify the screen to show just what I want.

 

The biggest plus is the Garmin interface, they've been doing GPS for a long time and it shows! I spent more time po'd at the RM over how much more difficult it was to use and how long it would take to give up on a route after I made an executive decision to go another way.

 

Just got one couple of weeks ago for 369. To say the least i am not thrilled with it. Prob 70% of shp or con addresses it cannot find. (My 10 yr old magellan for thecar does better! There are split speeds in NC, TN, and In (haven't been more west with it yet). The only place so far that splits are shown is IN. Seems with so many company drivers out there that there should be a max speed setting. Can't do any descent esimation with the times. Thinkin about just taking it back.

I find that hard to believe. I find some of the smallest mom/pop processing plants immaginable.... somethings not right

 

I find it real hard to believe also. I still run my updated 660 as a backup and it is right over 90% of the time. Do people not read the numbers on the buildings and mailboxes when in search?

 

Me three. I think mine is right 98-99%of the time.

 

Maybe his gamin is quite outdated

You will get a message when it needs to be updated. Just hook it up to a computer USB and get out your credit card.
