I can probably give you a couple dozen company names, but try to only list those I'm sure have a good track record and fit, as closely as possible, the wish list a driver may have. I've done coast-to-coast 48 states & Canada with reefers, flatbeds, tankers.
All companies will have a few bad reviews because trucking companies aren't a one-size-fits-all for drivers. -

Indian River Transport hires all over and recently started hiring new cdl school grads.
Haul food grade products such as wine out of California. This is a tanker outfit and worth doing some research on. -
All segments of freight now are starting to really tighten up, for brand new drivers -- so you may well encounter some real "speed bumps" in that search for your first gig.
I'm seeing A LOT FEWER job ads now for Western Dairy Transport than previously -- and those remaining are for local jobs up around the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Even Schneider doesn't show any job ops (as of this writing) for drivers in your area that are just out of CDL school.
If none of the above-mentioned leads pan out for whatever reason....you might also try:
USA Truck (Schenker) -- no prev cdl exp mentioned -- Texas regional -- accepts/trains new cdl grads
or
Stevens Transport -- no exp needed -- new CDL grads welcome -- Texas
or.....this next one is hard work--but it's also home daily:
Labatt Food Service -- driver trainee -- home daily -- no exp needed
Good luck....

Company websites and words from a recruiter are almost as unreliable as it is possible to be. Make the company put you in contact with current working drivers at the company you want to know about AND doing the work you are being hired to do. Never work at a company ntil you have talked to those drivers and gotten everything you need to know answered. Ask "how much did you make last month or week or year. DO NOT ask are you making good money. Ask what schedule do you work? DO NOT ask are you working too much? Ask specific open-ended questions. You are not going to change the company, you will work like the other drivers or leave.
