Hello all. I am going to driving school and starting to look for a company that will take me with 2 speeding in 2018. One was for 20mils over and 10 over. Also I have and 2 DUI over 20yrs. ago. Does anyone know of a company that will take me? I don't drink, smoke with NO Felony's. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. PokeyBBQ1

Any construction company or trash company. Im being serious. That dont look into any of that. As long as you show up for work, you are gold. Hell last company i was with had a guy take a year off becuase he lost cdl for dui and accident. Once he got his license back he was back in the saddle

Thanks Cam Roberts for the heads up. I'm so new I don't know of company names in the Racine, WI area that will fit what you have said above.

No biggie, 20 year old dui's wont be a problem. Couple of speeding tickets? no big deal. Someone gonna hire you. Just need to find some places near you or otr companies you might like and start applying. Some say otherwise probably but im gonna stick to my guns and say your record is nowhere near a death sentence

The DUI's won't be a problem. Don't even list them on the job application unless specifically asked for. Usually, they ask if you've had any DUI's within a certain time frame, such as within "last 7 years" or "last 5 years", etc.
Don't say, "No, haven't had any DUI's within the past 7 years, but did have 2 over 20 years ago."
Now, the 20 mph over is considered "reckless driving" so that rules out many companies until you get some time behind you on those.
Here's some that may hire you right out of cdl school though:
Looks like you're inside the hiring area for National Carriers and also qualified as a new cdl grad.
Go ahead and submit an online application right now off the website.
Someone will give you a call once they look over your online application & may offer you a job at graduation.
    Company Requirements
    • CDL A
    • Minimum Age: 21 years
    • Minimum Experience: Ask about our Student Program if you have a CDL A, but not enough experience.
    • DWI Convictions: Must be 5 years ago
    • Moving Violations: Only 3 last 3 years
    • Preventable Accidents: Only 3 last 3 years
