    Went microwave.
Someone posted in that thread about the radiant heat from the toaster and I was planning on keeping the Xbox in close proximity. So that swayed me.

    KMac Thanks this.

This is my daily look, I know I'm not presentable to the board of directors, but at least I look day to work. I'm a flatbedder, I've been accused of being homeless a time of two based on my cleanliness after chaining a dirty ### coil, or a load of muddy and rusty beams. I just keep hearing my grandpa's words in my head, "don't go out of the house looking like a slob, you'll get more respect that way"

Buy a cutting board. 6 bucks in dollar store. Saw in half. Insert between toy game and toaster heat solved.

Didn't think of that. If i find room for a toaster oven I'll remember that. (Put my new microwave in last night and actually about to test it out)

Little over a year ago I was with BTC and just finished loading a 46,000lbs set of beams in Midlothian TX. It had rained a lot that morning. I had mud and rust from head to toe. After I got loaded I headed east to that loves down the road to get a scale ticket food and a shower, add I walked in with another driver the guy behind the counter told me I couldn't hang out there. I told him that's good, cause I need a shower. You could visibly see he was embarrassed.

Another time was this past fall after I started here at National strategic. I loaded a coil from the outside yard in burns harbor. Was all rusty and muddy. My shirt mostly looked like it hadn't been washed in months. I pulled off to hit the restroom on one of the i65 rest areas. As I'm walking in one of the site attendants looked at me and said I want allowed to sleep inside lol. I told him that it's cool, I'm a truck driver lol

I think so. He was a harsh authoritarian, didn't let people get away with anything. If he thought you was wrong, boy he let you know

Some of the greatest lessons I learned in life were from people like that, although I didn't know it at the time. When ya get right down to it, they really did it out of love, or so I choose to believe.
