    Hey everyone, my name is Harry, I am from Bakersfield, CA. I am married, have 3 daughters, 3 grandsons and another one on the way. I am currently half way through school, I was a truck driver (88M) in the Army Reserves and deployed to Iraq 2 times as a truck driver. I take my behind the wheel test on Jan 19,2016, I feel pretty confident that I will pass. I have one job offer with Schneider, but have talked with some others.

    Wow, your a hero!! You survived 3 daughters and a wife!!! My respects man!!

    Oh and hey brother, you dont have to be OTR truckin..you can do other stuff with CDL, make a good check, go home every night, be fricken normal!!
    HOW LONG you can say you were with CDL matters..
    All the LTL carriers will be droppin thier standards, some of them to 6 months exp!!

    Look up some excavating companies!! go pull a digger around, have fun for good money!!

    There's lots of tanker work around Bakersfield. I've hauled chemicals to Bakersfield.

    Most companies only give Military credit if i had only gotten out in less than 1w months, I have been out since 2006. I just started using my Post 9/11 GI Bill, I will be taking advantage of the apprenticeship program.
