New guy in Vegas

Hi all,

Just found the site during my search for a good school. I am in Vegas, and there seems to be only 2 of any reputation. AIT and Southwest Truck Drivers school. Any info on either would be much appreciated.

I am not really sure what I want to do when I finish, I keep thinking I would like to get a local route, as I am not sure about being away for days (weeks?) would suit my wife much. Then again, my wife would love to ride along at times and see some of the country if I go the OTR route. I am not looking to get rich, just want a paycheck that lets me live somewhat comfortably.

I would very much appreciate any input from those of you in the West, and specifically Nevada would be great.
