New Guy needs some info

So I am new here guys but have been following this thred for a bit anyway nice to meet you guys. Anyway I am wanting to stat trucking. I have talke with a recruiter at swift about going to school in west TN anybody know anything about this school. Also how will my work history effect me I have been at the same job for about the past year and am still working there. But my jobs before were dead end jobs at temp aginces things like that. Just curious how that will play into it also. Look foward to geeting to know you guys I have been trolling the fourm for a while now..LOL

 

I have not decided with swift im kind of leaning more of a no, with that honestly. There is a school here where i live that I think im going to prob go with because I can get a grant and have most of it paid for. But im worried about my pas work history because this previous year I had a few diffrent jobs but they were crapy jobs I have been at my current job since may and I can still work some while I attend my cdl school. I have 1 speeding ticket and a not at fault accident on my 7yr report.

 

So yeah im prob going to go with the school that is here local it is a 4 wk program and they also help with getting a job. And I will still be able to work while going to school. But I have seen a lot of people talking about prime was just curious what makes them so much better.
