    Hello to all.

I have been lurking for a while and have decided to join up.What a great website. I really enjoy reading a lot of the posts. I read one frome evertrucker that I think would be good for all of us. Not sure if this is the right place to put but here goes nothing.

I would like to know how much you make per day. I dont care if your are paid by the mile or the hour. I think it would be good for all to see how much drivers make and that may help there decision if they want to drive local or otr.

I am not looking for people to brag on either side. But dont you all think it wouild be helpful. For those who are on the raod, maybe you can just post your miles/earnings for the time you are out.

I have a lot more questions but I think this is a good start. Let me know if I posted this in the right place. Thanks for all your responces and I look forward to reading them.

    Duke.

hello and welcome!! I'm just getting ready to go to L.A. in the morning. We run a minimum of 500 miles a shift, I can run 583 #.35/mi.. I guess you can do the math. I drive a 2000 freightliner classic with a 575 cat and 18 speed. I be in L.A. # 7:30 monday morning, will have a crew waiting for me to unload. I have a load of cabinets going to a golf course. If theres anything else I can answer for you,I will be pleased to do so. Be safe and have fun.
