New hire for conway going to OK for training
So here I am going to give Trucking a try. I have read TONS of the posts about others getting started in trucking on here. Some have been very helpful.

I had 2 options so far while looking for a trucking company and a school combo Usa truck and Conway. Both seemed very eager to have me as part of there companies. Usa more so then Conway but i picked Conway.

No I dont know if Conway was the right choice. I hope it is. Always a lot to worry about when your starting a new career. I have almost no trucking back ground only a small amount while cross training in the army on 9-16's but that was like 16 years ago.

I have actually just got the ball rolling on my app with Conway I just spoke with the requiter while posting this. Let me be honest i am very excited and nervous about the job.

Now i doubt there will be any issues with my driving record or criminal record
No tickets in the last 5 years
No accidents in the last 10
No DUI or anything like that
No criminal record at all

All of that out of the way i am down to my questions

Anyone know what the school is like in OK? I understand its 4 1/2 weeks long but other then that i dont know a thing about it.

 

Yes that would be the one April 15th. I am really looking forward to it.
