I recently completed a course and got my CDL, and am now in the process of applying to large companies that train - my course was short, and I want to get on with a company that will help me get the final skills I need. So I've applied to the usual companies - Swift, Stevens, CRST, and a number of others.
I have some minor background blemishes that I worried about, but from the responses I've gotten it turns out they're not a problem at all, except one issue: at least several companies seem to require that one must have had a valid license for at least 2 out of the past 3 years, and I fall short of that. I had a few non-moving violations in that time, but no moving violations.
Can anyone please point me toward any companies for whom this would not be a deal-breaker? Thanks

Curious as to why you didn't have a valid license "sometime" in past 3 yrs? Suspension? Not trying to interrogate you, but details might matter, and usually do.

Try these companies with online application; sometimes they bend their own hiring rules if they think you may be an asset to the company. Apply to all & see what happens.
