New horizons with Holland Enterprises (Fargo,ND)

Hi then I guess every tru k that loaded here today needed it. Lol.

 

Just got off the phone with Carla in safety, guess the recruiter is off today. She basically confirmed everything you guys have been saying all along. Also didn't realize Holland was expanding its fleet, she said you're getting 25 trucks added to the fleet by the end of the year, good to see that there are still company's growing.

 

Picked up in Othello, going to Danville IL.
Little bit of extra time on it. But hours aren't looking that good anyway.\


One of my biggest complaints has been fixed by us being able to use the Transflo Smartphone App.

I didn't know this, but Becky told me we still need to turn in the Old Trip Envelopes.
So once you get to Confirmation Number write it on the Envelope, and turn in next time at the Yard.

I was keeping them, but wasn't writing the Conf Number.
Was easy enough though. I have a System, all of the Confirmation Emails Automatically get Put into one my GMail folders, (Transflo) and marked as read.

 

Yeah that Michaels Foods is something else. Wait till you go there in winter or early spring.

 

Yep, I've used the transflo app a few times now. It's really kind of clunky to me so I only use it when I want to make sure a load gets on the current check.

 

I have picked up at Michaels many times in the winter and yep its pretty bad. As for the Tans flipped app it's ok but I still use my scanner with the transflo on the computer because I notice the pages that are not very clear come out pretty bad withe the camra but with the scanner they look good. It's a great idea what there doing with it I think it just takes some getting used to because alot of drivers don't care to much for change. You guys have a safe weekend there's lots of cops out

The Transflo App is a bit of a pain in the ###.

I didn't have a big issue with my GS4.
Phone I'm using now is a POS, and giving me some problems.
But I have used it for every Trip (since they sent the QC msg about it) except the one I finished of in Fargo the other day.

Pointless when I am going by the Yard.
Plus I had 4 Drops and 3 Lumper Receipts.
So figured I would just hand it in.

 

On my least productive load I've had since I started. 2 days, 300 miles, 3 drops. All in the LA area.. Hopefully this is to get me to a good run.

Since we haven't been told to only use the Trans Flo app, I'm only going to use it as I need to.

 

Had to look at my next preplan a few times.

Picks up 9/5 1500 delivers 9/5 2000 649miles away.

Had to tell them I couldn't do it.

I guess someone screwed up the date.
Picks up 9/4 (today)..I guess I can do it then.
