Well, on e-logs my revenue for the last two years has been north of $194K. Net was north of $70K. Home every weekend/holiday, by the house a minimum of once during the week, and a minimum of two weeks off a year (bambi cries out for me to drop him and put him in my freezer). Just today, turned down a load that was totally unrealistic and didn't pay what it took to do it. No problem. Did a 146 mile deadhead to the house, OFF DUTY on the e-log, and got a grip of landscape work done around the house. 34 basically got started last night even though I drove that 146 miles this morning. No load, nothing assigned, nothing in the wagon. Simple personal conveyance. Under new regulations that take effect in July, recap would be done tomorrow morn 0500. It is really too bad that some folks still feel they have to do slick exotic things with logs.

But you said in your post they had 11 hrs "after" being at the shipper for 3 hrs. Confused now. How did they not use any of that 11 getting to the customer like you are stating now? Yet you stated they had 680 miles to do in 11 hrs. I am starting to think you are fighting so hard to prove a negative that you are having difficulty keeping track of the hours in your posts. Could be wrong.

146 on personal conveyance sounds a little fishy to me. Of course unless you are going to Deadhead back to the place you left. Some folks are going to get a rude awakening if audited by DOT.

You have 2 years experience. So I'm sure there are some things you can't understand. I really don't feel like spoon feeding today.

In your perfect world of ''sleeping'' at the shippers or recievers,YES.But over 60% of shippers and counting DO NOT WANT drivers on there property..So the ''on duty'' must start from the time they leave the truck stop. This could be 30,60 80 miles out..You see what i mean.?.These guys get screwed big time..

I believe you.But people on ''e-logs'' have this great obsession to be at the ''dock'' so they can CHEAT and show all loading, unloading and pre trip at the dock...They are trying to ''save time'' by doing it this way..In other words they DO NOT start there 14 hour clock until all loading, unloading and pre trip are done....

I am not sure of the ''laws'' of this. But i would think that this may be cheating even on e-logs.
