New Hours Of Service

i wonder if the idiots who came with the idea realize.

we sit to loaded we sit to be loaded. we sit waiting for appt. time. we sit most of the time in between loads waiting in dispatch/broker to send us the load. or waiting on pick time /date.

I know it really looks like were having a good time in the truck stops parking lots. Sitting around waiting.

Where are we going to ne able to sit all timefor restart.

Oh!In the truck stop parking lots.

Oh!That way tre truck stop will start charging us to sit their.

Cant idle the trucks. So spend money on Idle air.

Im going to start pre paid parking lot for trucks and just sit back watch all the trucks sit.

Anyone got a fly swatter. Starting to smell around hear.

 

Why cant truck drivers be the ones to make the law.... by voting on these issues? Anyhow, I say change the 11 hr to 12 hr - the 14 to 16 - the 10 to 11

 

Truck drivers are supposed to vote for the people that make these rules but most don't vote . We have a President that only 30% of registered voters voted for .
An FMCSA Request For Comments that was posted over 2 months regarding EOBR's and harassment ago has less than 75 comments and many of them favor EOBR's . Some of the negative comments show considerable ignorance .

 

Awww, come on now Rick! Don't you agree that that vast "silent majority" (thanks for that one Tricky Dicky!) is just totally hungering for the joys of an electronic nanny?

 

The lack of response tells FMCSA there apparently is no problem with EOBR's

 

An dthe scariest part of your statement Rick is only 30% of the registered voters--and last I heard less than 50% of the population is even registered--scary isn't it?

 

Just worked 8 hours from last night and made 980.00 clear....Plenty of time for a ''break''...Driving 299 miles(6 hours) today,one pallet to pittsburgh and clearing 620.00...

When are you ''newbies'' and ''company'' drivers gonna learn to STOP DRINKING THE KOOL-AID..?

 

When are the "owner operators" going to learn if you don't have pictures nobody is believing your trucker story.

 

Land star said this on another post just a day ago how he was going to take off 7 days. But is back to work a day later. You might want to begin more of your rants. With "you aren't going to believe this...."

Keep pounding them miles son.Many people are depending on your hard work and labor..I will be thinking of you today.

I am on another 7 days off as soon as i delever this load.Then i am going to jump into my beautiful inground pool and take a nice dip and then go for a nice ride on the Harley Later...Then off to the firework show with loved ones for a bit of party time..And i do not mean drugs...I am sure you have an opionion on that too...

We will continue this debate later on when your babysitter tells you it's time to go ''nighty night''.Does that e-log thingy tell you when to shower and go poo poo too.?.I will be looking forward to hearing from you...​
