See if figure everything in my decisions because if I have 1300 a week fixed cost everyIle lowers mile cpm but if it's 0 or 3k miles a week I still have to cover those fixed costs.

I understand you only considered some of the costs however if someone reads your post that has zero experience they may interpret your cost as being that l9w at SNI.

I'm not trying to say you're wrong I'm just trying to keep a perspective on things for the driver with 6 months experience that SNI now will allow into the choice program.

Your regular scheduled program will now resume

When you're trying to recruit it pays to be nice..

When you're trying to be honest sometimes the truth is ugly!

wow, why such a high fixed cost? my fixed cost each week is $1055. Are you leased through SFI? I didn't lease through SFI, I brought my truck over from my previous carrier and am leasing from them. It does look like we both work with the same end numbers in mind when it comes to running our businesses. I use that 24.5cpm number to determine if a 400 mile deadhead makes sense or not. Obviously if it's for a load that pays $400 total revenue, then no. But for a load that pays say $1,600 or $2,200 in revenue it might make sense. But that is just variable I look at. I have a whole spreadsheet I use to breakdown the profitability of the loads I am thinking about running.

I see your point in trying to cater to the lowest commone denominator so they have realistic views about this program.

That's not my actual it was just a random number.

Yes it is, but my truck note includes all but the cargo insurance as well. Plus the freighliner that Prime has spec'd out is completely different from SFI's. This isn't the base model pos SFI puts new lease drivers in, and I have an APU, not that idle free battery pack thing I hear horror stories about.

Like I said my fixed each week with truck payment (which includes physical damage and bt insrunace), apu, personal property, owner occ, and maintenance fund is $1055 a week. I am about $50/week more then the other guys with the freightliners they leased through SFI but with a much better spec'd truck :) At least in my oppinion. Trust me I spent the time looking into leasing here from SFI or bringing my truck over and the numbers every time made sense for me right now to just bring my truck over even though I really wanted the KW. I like how SFI has them spec'd out for the lease guys.

I plan on buying this truck at the end of my lease and then save up to buy a second truck to grow my fleet.

I'd disagree. The trucks prime gets are bare bottom spec'd trucks. ..I know from experience...don't go around acting like your truck is top of the line because it's far from that...

You know I'm not with Prime.....Lol

I assume you weren't referring to me my 2016 680 is 763 a week I believe. My weekly is a little higher because I pay extra every week so I can have it paid off sooner or take time off and not worry about the payment.
