Mandatory crash mitigation system on lease trucks?

 

This is coming pretty standard on all trucks now adays, you actually have to order it without it now.

 

Mandatory e-logs unless qc is malfunctioning. And logging by Schneider rules, i.e. no split logging.

No hands free phone use.

Schneider does not require use or payment for ez pass and you can get your insurance anywhere as long as you have it.

You can also provide your own plates and 2290.

 

California state requires you to be an LLC, not Schneider.

 

I think that is a Schnieder thing ... I've been running as a sole proprietor out of California with my carrier now for 5 years.

 

I was informed Schneider is requiring that...as a result from the lawsuits involving FedEx

 

In new agreement it says 40.00 charge for ez pass transponder to be returned when contractor leaves SNI

I was told by an IC who lives there it was a state thing. Thanks for the correction.

 

A lot of shippers require GPS tracking to haul their freight

 

No hands free cell phone?? If your not breaking the DOT law I would have a problem with this one.
