    What's going to be binding

Your ICA words or the agreement you sign ?

Signed agreements outweigh verbal contracts in every arbitration or court of law everyday all day.

    Ask yourself this...

If nothing has changed WHY the need for a new contract???

First of all, we all have a contract with Schneider and at least mine is not expired or anything.. So, why would I sign a different contract while I have my current one ? Business contracts never be one way only, both side has to agree all details and you cant just make a new contract every couple months and tell your business partner to sign it.. It doesnt work like that!!!

Why believe a company employee over a written agreement from the same company.

Do you think they are going to acknowledge they're about to screw us.

why not an addendum to the current contract if they wanted to add some changes instead of an entire new contract?

In a legal standpoint they aren't allowed to just change a contract like this, especially one that has a time period and is not expired. What they would have to do if they want you to sign this under no contest is to ternimate you all under the old contract and then rehire you using the new contract. Other than that they technically have no legal binding rights to just change it without negotiations.

I got a message that if this "contract" isn't signed by the due date that our current lease expires with Schneider.
Dunno if that's accurate or not..

I agree with Tennman...My Ica said this and my Ica told me that don't mean squat in reality of the contract. I'm sure they will say anything just to get the driver off the phone about this. I talked to one driver and he talked to 3 different Ica's and got 3 different answers.

Unless it states as such somewhere in the fine print of the current one.
