I usually run Minneapolis to Indy. 30k max out and usually closer to 20k, and always under 10k back. So I run pretty much flatlands with lighter loads. My biggest issues are the wind more so than the hills.
I talked to an International guy yesterday. I had a Pete 579 lined up but based on your posts I decided to give them a call. I hadnt been in a combine since the 90s and that truck was 14 years old at the time lol.

I'm talking to a guy about a used 2018 579 (epiq) with a paccar 455, pacar/Eaton 10 sp auto, 2.64 ratio.
Any thoughts?
Can get the new fuel efficient technology right now at not new prices. -
I have a fully specd lt625 ready to go just haven't pulled the trigger yet. A26, 13 speed manual, 2.93 ratio, wheel covers, haven't decided on flow below. Will be adding wheel covers to my trailer. It has skirts already.
6 years of warranty for 146k. Stayed with Continental tires. -
Or go cheaper... Buy used 2018 579 epiq, no idle Apu, fully loaded inside, 213k miles for 100k.
Decisions.... -

The Pete Im looking at is a 2019 579 with MX13 510hp 10 speed 325 rears. 240 wheel base but it actually turns pretty good. 150k 35k for my Freightshaker puts it at 115k I can handle that easily enough
