ok I have a job interview for a local driver job, they want my drivers abstract which I just picked up. I have no tickets or accidents on my record, but it shows all the inspections I have had. There are two that are very recent which show 0 defects, then there is one from 2008 which I had a air hose which had been rubbing against the frame and was in need of future replacement, also I had one brake out of adjustment, but I was only given a warning for this and recieved not ticket or fine, my question is do you think this would be a bad record in the eyes of an employer?

Not to worry, Pardner. That is very trivial.

Well little update, I got the job, so I am pretty happy. I have been running regional for awhile now, and had been looking for a local hourly pay job and got it, I have 3 years experience so thats good. It starts at 19 hour then after 3 months I get a dollar raise with futher raises later, and I for the first time get my own assigned truck, no more slip seating.

Must be something in the water... I just interviewed for a local on the nearby military base. $22/hr, 8hr days, 1 hr lunches, 40 hr week and 24hrs notice on OT. Was told "you're in. Offer letter on Monday". Best of all, 1/3 the commute. :biggrin_25525:

This means to me 15 less hrs a week and a $300 per week pay increase. I just hope it comes through.
